              There are many spas in New York City, including day spas, luxury hotel spas, and medical spas. Which are the best?  How much do they really cost? And do they deliver the best experience?

              You'll find the cheapest treatments at no-frills neighborhood Asian spas. While some may be good, I've heard first-hand accounts from people who regretted bargain-hunting after an untrained therapist worked on them. I wouldn't go without a personal recommendation.

              I love Fifth Avenue Thai Spa because I trust the estheticians ($129 for a 50-minute facial with lots of add-ons like IPL and I had a great massage there ($119 for 60-minutes). The best spas have happy therapists that have been there a long time.
